Q. What types of rooms are availible?

A. The Loon's Nest Banquet Center seats 225 guests inside along with a dance floor.  It also has an outside patio which seats 75 guests.

The Pavilion is a separate building next to the clubhouse which seats 350 to 400 guests for an open outdoor relaxed atmosphere.  This makes for a a great setting for a relaxed casual event.

The 19th Hole seats 75 guests inside along with a deck outside which seats 50 guests.

Please Note: As specialty tables are added(cake, coffee, appetizers, gift tables, etc.) the seating copacity decreases.

Q. When, and for how long, is the room availible?

A. Room availability is based upon prior events scheduled and your minimum set-up requirements. Approximately two weeks before your event management will confirm the time availible. Last call for bar service is 12:00 a.m.

Q. Is there a cancellation fee?

A. Deposits will be refunded if the cancellation occures 60 days or more prior to your event and if the banquet room can be reserved with another comparable party for that same date.

Q. May I use my own cater or liquor?

A. In accordance with Michigan State Health, Food Licence and Liquor License laws, all food and beverages must be provided by Loon's Nest Banquet Center, with the exception of specialty cakes. All food and beverages are provided in-house.

Q. Are there any restrictions on alchohol?

A. We are a state-licenced facility and cannot serve alchoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. should the age of a guest be in question, proper identification will be required. All alchoholic beverages consumed on the property must be purchased from Loon's Nest Banquet Center and served by our employees.

Q. Is the facility handicap accessible?

A. Yes, both banquet levels and all restrooms are fully accessible. We have an elevator to serve both banquet levels.

Q. What decoration may be used?

A. Decorations are to be coordinated with management and must meet Fire regulations. Items are not to be taped or tacked on walls, ceilings or surfaces. State fire Regulations require that all materials be free standing. Confetti and glitter are not allowed. All candles are required to be glass enclosed.
